Those who make a profit by abusing or exploiting animals will be exposed for who they really are.
Ian Connaughton owns and manages Girgarre Piggery in Girgarre VIC, for Don KR Castlemaine / George Weston Foods, where 3000-4000 sows (mother pigs) are moved between confinement in small cages for weeks at a time, to small pens with other sows for months at a time. Their piglets are taken away at 3-5 weeks of age to be slaughtered at 5-6 months. This is standard in the Australian pig farming industry.
